I went up to the Bay Area this week to go to my grandpa Ray's memorial. He had passed earlier last month, but the Memorial was scheduled for his birthday. He would have been 94 today. There isn't much to say, except that it was beautiful. I cried more than expected, and my uncle Ray gave an excellent, excellent speech.
I took a couple photos with my Nikon, but don't feel like reviewing or sharing them right now. Instead you'll get some photos from my iPhone, and some my relative Dominic sent to me.
Rest in peace, Grandpa Ray. I couldn't have had a better grand-parent, and think of you every day.
